Kilwinning Man Collects Record-Breaking 1,400 Easter Eggs for Children in Hospital

Easter Egg Donations

He’s Done It Again – Well Done Michael

Michael Kirkum, from Kilwinning, is feeling grateful and overwhelmed after successfully collecting a staggering 1,400 Easter eggs for children in hospital. Despite the ongoing financial struggles that many are facing, Michael’s 12th annual Easter egg drive was his most successful yet. He donated the eggs to Crosshouse Hospital and various community groups in the area on Friday, March 31st.

Cranberry Jam Concert

Michael has been an active fundraiser for his community for 30 years and is also organizing a concert called ‘Cranberry Jam’ at the Cranberry Moss Community Centre on Saturday, April 15th. This year, Michael’s son, Michael Junior, assisted in collecting donations due to his father’s busy schedule and will be presenting the chocolate eggs to the children’s ward on Friday.

Anyone interested in making a last-minute donation should reach out to Michael via email at mgkirkum89@outlook.com or by phone at 07961 540780. Michael and his family are truly inspiring examples of kindness and generosity in the Ayrshire community.
